work of Tamworth Cornerstone Housing Association is seen as an act of
Christian witness through service within the community and for the young
people.
WHO
ARE WE?
Tamworth Cornerstone Housing Association is a Christian organisation
made up of local Church people, and representatives of Cornerstone Christian
Charity, Touchstone Housing Association and Tamworth Borough Council.
It was formally set up in 1989. The Association aims to improve the
provision of housing for young, homeless people in Tamworth.
The work of the Association takes place at The Old School House Project
at the corner of Woodhouse Lane and Tamworth Road, Amington.
HOW
WE SUPPORT YOU
We Endeavour to Support, Encourage and Empower you to maintain your
tenancy with TCHA and progress through the project onto independent
living.
This
will be completed using a level and pace according to your individual
abilities.
PROGRESSION
Start - ISU - (1 Room, shared facilities) = Pay Rent,
Attend Reviews and Lifeskills, No Disciplinary
Next step - CLUSTER - (Studio Apartment) = Pay Rent, Attend Reviews
and Lifeskills, No Disciplinary
Next step - FLATS - (Own Flat, Own Tenancy) = No Curfew, Overnight Visitors
Allowed within reason.
Next step - INDEPENDENT LIVING (In the Community) with the Help of Floating
Support if required.
